From Waitress to Award-Winning Real Estate Broker

Marissa’s journey to success is nothing short of inspiring. She began her career at 15 years old working at Stacy’s Place, a local diner in Mexico, MO, where she developed her strong people skills and work ethic. Later, she transitioned into the insurance industry at Gallaher insurance group, but her entrepreneurial spirit was calling.

At only 20 years old, Marissa opened her first business-a children’s clothing boutique on the downtown Mexico square. The boutique quickly became a local favorite, introducing her to thousands of families and community members. This experience sparked her passion for connecting with people and building lasting relationships.

Rising in Real Estate

A few years later, Marissa earned her real estate license and began her career with Century 21 in Mexico, Missouri. After just two years in the business, her drive and determination led her to purchase the company-transforming her role from agent to broker/owner of Century 21 Peak, Marking & Associates.

Her leadership has created a culture of growth and opportunity within the brokerage. Marissa is always looking for innovative ways to serve clients, support her agents, and strengthen the community.
